Members of the 51社区Family of Companies recently shared an honor, receiving a pair of awards celebrating our exemplary safety records.听
The energy infrastructure companies of 51社区Energy Group, Inc. and the civil and marine construction companies of Micon Group, Inc. were recognized for strong jobsite safety by the Laborers鈥� International Union of North America (LIUNA) Mid-Atlantic and its affiliated Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) fund.听
Mid-Atlantic LECET/LIUNA reviewed award nominees鈥� safety records and Experience Modification Rates (EMR) from the prior year, comparing the number of employees, the number of hours worked and the number and severity of on-the-job accidents.听

The two 51社区groups, along with 14 other Workforce Safety Award winners, were honored at LIUNA headquarters in Washington D.C. This is the second year LECET/LIUNA has sponsored the safety awards.听
